Manipulating the Image Week 4

This week we focused on creating our own magazine cover. Although I do read magazines quite often I still found this task to be difficult. I found it difficult because I kept losing the concept of what we were supposed to be doing, which was to make an actual imitation of a magazine cover but with our own effects to it and using images of people that we actually know. Most of the magazines that we looked at had an issue number, the date the magazine was published, the title and main articles along with a main image on the cover.

This magazine cover that I added into this blog is an example of what we were supposed to come up with.

This image at the top of the passage that I'm writing is what I the cover that I created. Telesa is the name of a Samoan book series that I honestly can't stop reading by Lani Wendt Young. The man on the Cover is the man that represents Daniel Tahi one of the main characters in the book.
